Lenten Services

The theme for this year’s mid-week Lenten services is healing. On Wednesday, February 21st we will kick off our Mid-Week Lenten series with a healing service.  You will have the opportunity to have oil place on your forehead and an individual prayer said – specifically for you.  We will also light candles for healing of yourself or a loved one.  If you prefer to not come forward, you may still participate by letting God’s healing word wash over you and touch you in the way that is most meaningful to you.

Each week after this we will have a different speaker tell their story of healing and/or learning to live with an illness and the service will include Holden Evening Prayer. Each service will begin at 7:00 p.m.

February 21st Healing Service

February 28th, Angela LaMoore will talk about healing.

March 7th Dan Ward will share his story of recovery from a Meth addiction.

March 14th a student from the Union Gospel Mission will share their story of hope and healing through the UGM’s programs.

March 21st – We will have a speaker come and share what it is like to live with a mental illness.

Tanzania Partners

The trip in January of 2013 and then in August 2016 brought us closer to our brothers and sisters in Tanzania and we hope to continue to strengthen this relationship.  This partnership changes lives not only in Tanzania but the lives of people here as well.  Check out the web-page for the Kimala partners to see more pictures and read the stories.
